All of our boxes are constructed from 1" 16 gauge heavy wall tubular steel. The tops are 3/4" plywood covered with 1/8" slip resistant ribbed rubber mat. Notice the underside of the box. It is finished with furniture scrim. The attaching screws are inset from the edge so that you do not break the tops.
